Garth Bock has been teaching line and couples dancing since 1990 in the central Illinois area. Since then he has had the opportunity to guest instruct at area dance halls, teach in local and regionally recognized workshops and has choreographed many line and couples pattern dances and has written articles for Midwestern Dance News (out of circulation) and The Country Goss (Australia's leading Line Dance Magazine). He is one of the founding members of Diamonds 'N Spurs Country Dancers (Bloomington, Il) who as a group were recognized 4 years in a row as Country/Western Dance Group of the Year by the Illinois Country Music Association (ICMA). He is always willing to lend a helping hand to another instructor or dancer and his exuberant teaching style and floor presence has brought him to the attention of workshop event coordinators around the midwest.
